The Snashall Steel Technical Office employs a team of draughting personnel who carry out all structural steel detailing utilising the latest in 3D CAD software from both Tekla and Strucad which gives the versatility in selection of detailing package to suit the most complex of structures.
Connection design is incorporated within the design/drawing process and utilises the latest in design software or traditional design methods depending on connection complexity.
The technical office pride themselves on having a proactive and professional approach to communication through the projects from concept to completion both with clients design teams and within the Snashall project team. From early stages all projects are internally reviewed with each department and with the clients design team to ensure a smooth project flow. Each project is reviewed and monitored during its development from commencement to completion to ensure a professional and safe project is maintained with the following areas covered; buildability, safety, access, fabrication, value engineering and material interfaces.
All drawings/documents are electronically published to the design team to ensure efficiency. All documents are stored and recorded in accordance with our procedures to ensure full traceability.
Once the project is complete the details are electronically exported directly to the production department for manufacturing.
