The Royal Pavilion is a substantial frame forming part.of the large wider site of the Poundbury development. The building comprises of 20 Juxury apartments and penthouses in the most exclusive.new address in the south-westof England. The main multi-storey frame wraps around a.central courtyard from the first floor to the roof.


On one corner of the building, a large steel tower was required that to would serve .as a.grand feature to the main building. Below the tower, further steelwork was required connect to the concrete pillars that further support this impressive building.


The main building is supported by three fully braced stairways that go the full height of the frame The roof incorporates a large number of trusses that support.cold rolled purlins. Moreover one.of the flat roofs that form the.corners of the building has a fifth floor that was designed as its own fully braced frame.
