Snashall Steel Fabrications Ltd was involved in two new elements for AirTanker - a new 20.086 sq ft office block and a 22,000 sq ft decked car park near RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. AirTanker supplies the RAF with delivering strategic air-to-air refuelling while out on operations worldwide.

Snashall Steel Fabrications Ltd brief was to undertake a design and build project to deliver both the new office space and car park at their site.

The scope works included a full frame design on both elements of the build, fabrication and erection. The main office block was circa 120 T of steelwork and the Car Park was circa 80 T. The office block featured an intricate atrium area which required a lot of coordination between the design team. It also featured horizontal cladding throughout.

Snashall Steel Fabrications Ltd also supplied, liftid and landed all concrete planks on the project as well as the stairs which fell under their package.
